Something tells me that Mitsubishi should be concentrating on cars that people actually want to buy (at least for the forseable future), rather than focusing on experimental styling.

Design Challenge - What is the Ultimate LA Machine?
Imagine what the Ultimate LA Machine would be. Then, ask automobile designers to come up with their interpretation and youll get a broad array of creative ideas. Thats precisely what the Los Angeles Auto Show asked Los Angeles area automobile design studios to do and the results are fascinating, entertaining and thought provoking.
The design challenge is a competition between Los Angeles area design studios to showcase their imagination and creativity. Los Angeles is a world leader in automotive design with 14 manufacturer design studios, representing Asian, European and North American automakers.
A panel of judges will select the winner based on which concept best expresses the characteristics of Los Angeles. The criteria the judges will be using are: spirit, road presence and brag factor; originality; sex appeal; and function and features. The concepts will be presented in two-dimensional form and displayed at the show.

JOKEJOE

BLOODY AMAZING. what a way for LA to draw watchers. seriously, i'll go to the LA auto show just for these displays. and a brilliant way to see how the car studios are planning to go forward with their designs!
the mitsu is ugly for sure but damn is that lay out awesome.
the mercedes is only as mercedes dos. the bmw is amazing, as only mr. bangle can do. everything else is amazing. i love this.

Those mini concepts are interesting, looks like the future 5 door mini could take the look of the 5door sketch in that picture.
IMO the most design flare goes to honda, dodge and VW. What the hell were the BMW designers thinking, their concept looks so boring, the original Z4 sketch look more exiting than those.
