Well, the review isn't bad, but reading it is EXTREMELY tiresome in my opinion. The different fonts, combined with words being crossed out often, make this a difficult read. I'm suprised they allowed this. Check it out.
http://thecarconnection.com/in...n=157

This is terrible...not even a Toyota deserves this crap...
that's disgusting. my 11-year old sister could write a better review than this garbage, or she could at least make it look better.
It's pretty simple to boil Toyota's Highlander Hybrid down to this: It's the Lexus RX400h's drivetrain under Toyota's unpretentious crossover sheetmetal. Not only is that reduction simple, it's pretty much accurate too. So I've driven the Highlander before and I've driven the RX400h before maybe I can review this vehicle by mashing together the two reviews I've written before and throwing in a few tweaks.
i was trying to figure out how someone would be stupid enough to write a review like that, and i think i found the explination.

Regardless of which review (car) this is for, the style/type of this review is crap.
And to know this is from TCC, it is in fact, as SV3 pointed out, disgusting
This is why you should never trust reviews, do you own reviews...

Yea. I would expect something like this from another website, but not TCC.
It was dissapointing.

The 2004 Highlander Hybrid isn't going to inspire much passion among its buyers, but it will coddle every one of them in comfort through years - nay, decades - of reasonable transportation duty. The extra power is nice, and the third-row seat will keep a few buyers from scurrying over to the Honda store, but this is fundamentally the same vehicle as it was before the hybrid drivetrain was installed and that's plenty good.

What a joke . I don't wanna read that thing again cause it's just gonna make me stupid.
"That's plenty good".
WTF? Only people who aren't good in English say such phrases (perhaps some Japanese but the writer isn't Japanese at all but in fact, the writer is American/or at least very fluent in English).
The point is, this article (and perhaps the one who wrote this) is nuts .

what is weird is that they praised the RX, but they gave this car a "so-so" review. They are essentially the same cars
