Generating 174bhp, an increase of 11bhp over the previous powerplant, the new 1.8-litre engine also delivers better performance and mileage. A 1.8-litre turbodiesel is also new, with 10-20bhp more than the 125- and 135-horsepower units it replaces.
An active damping system has been engineered for use in the SV100. Available in LX models and the RSport, it helps lessen body roll without hurting ride quality.
Several other features are available also, including active headlamps that illuminate corners, intelligent cruise control, and a power liftgate on LX estate models.
The front and rear ends of the car have been modified, too. The headlamps are surrounded by LEDs which give the SV100 a distinctive look at night. I left them out because I don't have any good drawings of them, but the Grand Legend will be facelifted early next year so I'll have better pictures of it then.
