2017/18 Nissan Navara SUV

Navara based SUV mule spotted. Not much to reveal so far, apart from the mule combines a new Navara front cut and shunted with an old style Pathfinder rear end:

Revealed without disguise. Nothing outstanding, but decent enough:

That's really unattractive. So, will Mercedes rebadge this as well?:banghead:

Good enough for what it is, but I miss the rather blocky and straight shape of the previous Pathfinder (which used to be the Navara based SUV), just like I do with the LR Discovery. It just gave it a "manly" stand out character among the many dozen family SUVs on the market...

Looks OK, could have been better. Although, certainly looks better than the likes of Pajero Sport and Fortuner.

Nissan Australia need this in their portfolio to provide a diesel wagon option for their ever diminishing customer base and given there is no Patrol diesel option anymore. Speaking of Patrol, Nissan Australia have released a facelift where it gets none of the updates that the Middle East got a while back, and that substantially improve its crook looks. At least it gets a new mirror though LOL. Nissan Australia - beyond inept.

Something about the stance of it is off and it finally occurred to me what it was. It looks too narrow for its length and height, making it look tippy and the small tires--above which the body seems to float--only contribute to the top heavy look.

1/2 OT but I wonder when Mister Blurrycam finally gets retired?

I also like the blocky and straight shape as you call it, of the LR4. I would also add the Dodge Nitro.
