2018 Kia Ceed
After thge Hyundai i30 had it's redesign, the Kia cee'd is following on it's foot steps...

A bit worryingly to me, it looks very close to the i30, like it would only be a reskin (the current models look quite different), like the new Rio and the i20. Interior looks different though, and even in prototype shape pleasantly high quality, and with a slightly better integration for the stereo than in the i30, though a bit on the button heavy side for a 2018 model. However, screen size suggest this is a base model, probably higher end ones will have a n more modern interface

Compared to the current car, this looks pretty disappointing - both inside and out. It's further evidence of Kia's recent trend away from dynamic design towards safer, more stolid styling.

Looks like a huge step back. Kia is getting to conservative, leave that role for hyundai.

The exterior does look drab, and the interior looks dreadful. Very un-Kia like.

I think differently... I actually like the interior. It sportier that that of hyundai i30 and a step above compared to any latest Kia product (Kia Rio, Picanto, Niro).

As far exterior styling go, we still haven't seen much of the layout. But the car looks lower and wider compared to the current model. Looks like an Audi A3.

The images so far and render don't inspire much hope this will look anything noteworthy.

It's a bit 2007 looking.

Please be wrong.

I'm so sick of the 'generification' of all these small hatchback type cars. The current Ceed is pretty nice looking. It has character. This looks like a dull MPV. I really dislike how bland they've made the DLO. No more swoopy kink. Just bland...

It does look like they are pulling a Rio here (or what VAG starts to do now as well), meaning they reskin the Hyundai rather than giving it a proper body of it's own. The current cee'd did look really different to the contemporary i30, and IMO is still a fresh looking vehicle, that doesn't really need a replacement on visually terms alone. And the current i30 is really not much of a looker with it#s rather conservative lines and uninspired shape, so I don#t have overly huge hopes for this generation of cee'd. If we take the render and group the up the 1st and 2nd gen. cee'd, the new one does look as if it were a generation between the oldest and the currnet car, not it's replacement. again, like the basically invisible new Kia Rio....
