Good point there, but, if you look into the 90s, household-tech wise, the "grandpa-box" computers were far clumsier, and slower with less capacity and dial-up modems, the TVs were all CRTs (like the computer monitors), you had mainly VCRs with VHS and the DVD's in the late 90s were more exclusive and cutting-edge technology. Also, musical CDs were top yet mainstream tech, and musical tapes were still around and plentiful.
