It looks like they got the body right and then someone got the bright idea to install wheels that are much too big for the vehicle.

The only problem with a VW with this much flash is that VW will expect that much cash on the window sticker. Look at the Passat (either) VS Arteon. The American Passat looks like a $25K car no matter how it's outfitted. The Arteon is likely to be $45K. Now imagine if the $25K car looked like it was $45K.

This concept's stying could easily produce a Golf replacement or a small crossover.

For the USA, they should ditch the Golf and come up with a swoopy, crossoverish (sic) body that could be sold as a GTI (lowered suspension), an Alltrack (raised suspension), or a hatchback in between.
