Default Tatra project, please give feedback

This is a project set by Concept Group International of Coventry

My brief is to design a contemporary Tatra but based upon a current architecture. That restraint means the car will have to be front engined, abandoning Tatras rear engined heritage, as there are no suitable rear engined cars in production. I am intending on using the Porsche Panamera as a base as the dimensions and profile are fitting.

Tatra was known for its 'Streamliner' cars as influenced by Paul Jaray as well as some baroque detailing influenced by Czech Art Nouveau and even some Art Deco touches.
Later Tatras gained more conventional bodywork but were still large V8 and rear engined.
I've looked at the older vehicles and their influences but also at contemporary Czech culture and art.

I would especially like feedback from any Czech members but all feedback will be taken into account and could prove very useful to me.

Cheers

A few more ideas

Some quick renders and playing with proportions and detailing. Unfortunately while the vehicle began to look more elegant it started to lose some identity.. almost becoming Jaguar like in some respects

Re-injecting some more 'Tatra' and applying the use of active aerodynamics in the rear 3/4

Would love to hear comments and ideas

Thanks

Nath
