The BOF SUVs from Toyota should be under Land Cruiser as a BRAND that is sold in Lexus dealers. A Land Cruiser "Wrangler" would be a good thing. I would hope that they did not do it so ponderoulsy terrible and overweight as was the FJ Cruiser.
The car-based crossovers at this market level would come from Lexus.
The TLC/GX/4runner etc designs are so old but proven designs that for many countries of the world are the only type of product that works reliably.
The US and middle east might be the only markets where luxury vehicles of this size etc actually work
We're too small to justify major over hauls.
That said, Toyota has consistently failed to update the product mechanically or interior to keep pace with the market. Opening the door at this level to Ford/GM.
