Yes, that is indeed a major point; No one cared about track times with a Testarossa or Maranello, yet the lines made them instant classics, let alone a Daytona or Dino; Yes, those cars were fast, but not at all cost, and who would take them to a track day on the Nürburgring (where likely 99% of drivers are minutes of the best the car could do due to their driving), and there were no YouTube channels doing drag races with everything.
And thanks to these rather unattractive, "over vented" super cars we also have fake vents and scoops on every VW Polo or Kia Rio today, because fast....
Probably one reason, why, despite it's age and limitations (that are likely still way beyond what I'd use), a Maserati Gran Coupe would still be one of my first choices, given I had the money...
