Nice to see they dropped the Piano Black dash insert... I've seen a bunch of these where it is all scratched up. It has no chance of lasting in any kind of active (aka top down) use.

And, I agree - a dissappointment that there is nothing mechanically new. Do we have to wait - again - until the end of this model series to get a MazdaSpeed version?

LOL Don't say that! The "mythical" balance would be destroyed. I know the car magazines give the golden star to the MX5 for its handling, but having driven an MX5 vs a Sky, the Sky is much more entertaining to drive in. A V6 in he MX5 would give power and torque without having to resort to the gas hogish, oil thirsty rotary.
