Default 2010 BMW 3er (facelift)

I was fortunate enough to drive right past the face-lifted BMW 3er coupe and convertible on Friday.
Could only catch the briefest of glimpses unfortunately and no photographs (the security gorillas would have broken my kneecaps!). Relieved to see that the two pleats running along the centre of the bonnet of the current 3 sedan has NOT made it to the coupe. Headlight treatment very similar to what we have seen emerge in the new 5er - features that kink down just before it wraps around the side. Sadly did not pay too much attention to interior or tail lights (I don't think the metalwork around the tail lights will change, but not sure).

Also saw the face-lifted X5.
Rocking! New clear headlights with small horizontal containers for the indicators. The tail lights maintain the white horizontal reverse light, but gets the two red 'lines' of red light as shown on the 5er GT.
It also has the most awesome rims I have seen in many years - I remember the shape (kinda like a two-spoke Y configuration), and if memory serves they are two-tone. The gorillas were getting anxious so I drove on.

Many film and still cameras along the mountain pass (Franschhoek Pass, some 80km east of Cape Town), so clearly filming and photographing.

Also hear there is/will be a highly secretive Audi shoot in town... ;-)

Seems like it.
Minor changes only, so not a new model.

Well, Coupe and the C hadn't been facelifted yet (only sedan and Touring models) - so the usual mid life minor changes. There is usually a year or two between Coupes and sedans at BMW....

Looks good but its painfully evolutionary. The 3-Series sedan has cemented itself as BMW's "Golf". The Coupe looks fantastic though

The front looks very much 5-erized.

I'm surprised nobody has posted this yet. Is this for real?
