Indeed it reminds me a lot of the Auris combined with Mazda2 elements. Still, i think this illustration looks really good (much better than Auris somehow) and much better than the yawn-a-minute current car's styling, not to mention the new Micra

I see what you mean and i see some Yaris in it too but despite that this looks incredibly good, best looking Clio ever IMO and i'm betting it will be quite bigger and roomier than the Mazda

From the way the wheelarches are extended, it seems the next gen. will be even larger than the already not so small current one (I think it is already the largest in it's class), thus explaining why the Clio Conceppt car looked so large on those spy pics (btw., has it been shown in Frankfurt? I don't remeber seeing it on any site)
