This is a sign of the apocalypse and could only be the result of the darkest witchcraft known to mankind.

The pic qualities are so bad that I'm hoping that it is indeed a (very bad) photoshop. I cannot see MB producing anything this foul and cartoonish, although the first modern Maybach was pretty bad, design wise, too (although it still looked better than this).

If we have to choose btw German makes releasing warmed over version of the last car or this, I think I prefer the former.

A crossover sedan isn't exactly a bad idea, but wouldn't someone who can afford a Maybach rather have a bespoke sedan or a bespoke crossover? Had the A Class sedan been a crossover sedan, that might have been brilliant.

Lincoln had the 2003 Navicross concept in 2003 that sort of followed the same idea.

When Mercedes Maybach starts cribbing early 2000 Lincoln for ideas, then we know we got problems....

YUS! My first thoughts exact! The only basic difference is the size, number of doors and extra seats but the fundamental concept is pretty much the same. xD
Both flawed in looks but at least the X90 was cute. This Maybach is just plain vulgar. Let's hope it stays in China.

I was thinking the same thing too. But its a very 'avant gard' design so it will appeal to an eclectic buyer which isn't actually a bad thing. Those into their Vercace and Louis Vuitton

I did find a very fitting description of the interior somewhere - it looks like the luxury suit of a cheap Las Vegas casino & Hotel. i guess the Chinese also think more gold and LED bling equals luxury...
