Of course it will. BMW will not be able to remain independent forever with only 3 premium brands in its stable. Toyota is the perfect buyer. BMW is staggering under a design malaise. Mini is at a crossroads. Sales are suffering. It will take deep pockets to cure what's wrong with BMW. For both BMW and Toyota, it's a win/win.

Toyota has deep pockets indeed, why? They fight conservative 95% of the time, and buyers appreciate this.

Now, more collaboration if the Zupr4 succeed ? definitely.

BMW amortizing the cost of its electric vehicles by collaborating with Toyota to create shared platforms that offer massive economies of scale is one reason by BMW needs Toyota.

Additionally, Toyota is the perfect solution for Mini as well.

The Supra will fail because its projected price is 30-50% too high for a Toyota.

The Z4 will fail because it will be styling dullsville.

Needs the turbo V12 out of the 760.

8 series isn’t an 8 series without a v12 (for me anyways)

It looks great, but at 4400+ it's just too damn heavy.

It's par for the course these days. By the time you make it a tank for crash safety...just wait until batteries show up.

Brilliant 10 years ago. Passe now. They need to get rid of all leftover styling cues to the Bangle 6 now merged with 2015 Mustang cues. I wish they'd reinvigorate the feel of the 3.0CS complete with the BMW emblem on the C pillar.
