Now that the tech is up-to-date, unfortunately the design is not beautiful and timeless. Have to see live, but I don't think I like anything about the exterior.

I wouldn't go that far but it definitely won't age as gracefully as the DB9 (and neither does it reach its classy looks).

The detailing lets it down a little - the front guard airscoops jar a little and I'm not convinced about the black lower portion of the front bumper. But otherwise, it looks pretty sweet.

Agreed. The DB9 is still gorgeous, even if the that basic design has been played out in ca. 37 special editions in the last years. I think this new car - despite a still gorgeous shape (which, to be honest, hasn't changed that much) has a few details like those chrome or alloy roof sidedor that nowadays inevitable floating c pillar, that, together with those - to my eyes slightly vulgar - side air vents won't age well.

Default Wow

I love Everything.

Except that roof. Looks fricken weird, but I guess that's what the convertible model is going to be for.

I suppose Aston Martin did preview the new design language w/ (gulp) their SUV concept:

I like the new look, although the rear fenders and haunches are a little awkward. I found the previous design language to be flawless but ultimately very boring.

I'm surprised you all like it I think the detailing is off in many parts, while the shape and other parts are great. It feels like they were trying to hard to keep the overall AM look but also make it fresh and interesting and it hasn't quite succeeded...
