I was thinking the same thing! Doesn't make much sense to me either...

Yeah, weird isn't it? The only thing I can think of is that the new logo is going to be on all ground-up products (for the US anyways) going forward. The TC reskin and new 300 wouldn't really count then.

small but interesting pictures of the new 300's IP and navigation/function screen.. Im on the fence as to if this is enough of a step up as far as design is concerned, especially with the large amount of black plastic...

wonder why there's hot and cold buttons on the touch screen when there's actual temp buttons right below the screen

Well redundancy is the Detroit 3's forte. ;)

From Autoblog: "Slide #291: A brochure for the 2010 Chrysler 300 that shows a mystery grille. We've seen the brochure's contents, which instead show the model currently on sale."

Maybe it was a mockup?

i compared the grille on the brochure to that of the 200C concept, and its pretty similar in shape, despite having an eggcrate design on the brochure (as opposed to the 200C's slats)

maybe the 200C has become the 300C? or they took design cues and changed the entire 300 to something more sleek and modern, leaving the bold, boxy look for a new yorker or imperial?

You guys are thinking too much into it. That was just a cheap powerpoint presentation where the people who put it together got a hold of various images they thought would give viewers a general idea of the company's goals. The upcoming Chrysler cars will bear the new emblem. The 300's redesign was way under way even prior to the Fiat partnership. Chrysler also had launched a rendering of the 2011 Grand Cherokee which turned out to be 99.9% accurate. So expect the 2011 Chrysler 300 to look very similar to the rendering shown a few months ago, but with a new badge. The 200c concept which was based on a shortened 300c platform will give way to an enlarged Fiat-engineered evo-C platform (which is FWD).
One interesting thing is that Chrysler will have one more sedan, a compact one slotting underneath the upcoming Sebring replacement (also based on Fiat's evo-C platform).

Obviously, but it is a little odd that no one can seem to match that grille with any existing product...

Maybe because it wasn't revealed yet?
