Default 2014 Peugeot 308

since these are first teasers of actual Pug 308, we can open a new car section thread for it...

...though it seems a bit boxy, I'm happy to see that this last December render...:

...was the closest of them all, cause it was by far the best of the whole lot in last few years! and, as much as it can be seen, I really find its interior interesting... though I'm not sure I'll like those highly set dials when seated behind its steering wheel...
well, since they are supposed to present it officially this Monday, we'll see what's what really soon...

It's looking really good so far. I'm definitely intrigued about the interior.

Completely revealed inside out. Said to be 140 kg lighter than the current generation, on sale this fall as a 2014 model year...

I think it's quite attractive, inside and out! Nice job Peugeot!

Really loving the planted, almost Golf-like stance. Interesting, clean interior.

Yes, that sum sit up well. I would recommend to work on the grille again, much better than the gapping mouth solution, but IMO still not there. I think the lion in the grille instead of that weirdly recessing Peugeot branding would look much better.

Inside, I really like the clean, minimalistic approach, but that elevated instrument pod/small steering wheel is really answering a question no one asked. And no HVACs buttons, just touch screen? I might want to use them in winter as well, where I might wear gloves, which makes using a physical button incredibly more handy (apart from generally I don't wanna go to a sub menu of a touch screen for basic functions of a car anyway)....

Love (!!) the interior...simple and clean design, and most importantly for me it is different to the other brands...I don't know if I like the steering wheel position relative to the dash though...Maybe I would feel differently after sitting in it...

The front is a bit too much like an Astra for me...though I prefer this to the Astra...

Any idea if there will be a 3 door? Or will Peugeot only make a new RCZ and CC?
