I feel like the NX was just released, but Wikipedia indicates it released in late 2014, so my memory is apparently crap.

It's funny, say what you will about the NX, it is definitely distinctive.
There's this new Audi commercial where they're putting someone in the witness protection program and give him an "inconspicuous" SUV. It's an NX. The guy says he'll take his chances and picks a (supposedly more distinct) Q5. Hilarious.

I haven't seen that one, but seriously, an Audi "more distinctive looking than a Lexus? Love them or hate them, but they do stand out, unlike the "more of the same" Audi design for the last few generations (excluding A7 or A5 SB)

I think only the front end is very distinctive. The surfacing is also a bit flamboyant, but relatively vs. other Toyota designs (like the Mirai and Prius, which are simply ugly all over). The NX is otherwise, IMHO, fairly conventional.
