Default 2018 Citroen C5 Aircross

this suposedly is the production version...

source: worldscoop.forumpro.fr

...and I have to say that - except for the "baby poo" color in its interior - it is decent enough!
though, compared to the Aircross concept, all of its proprotions changed, it rather nicely "survived" the concept to production transition...
I whish that front lights would be thinner, so "downward kink" on the grille sides would be more "pronounced" and that rear lights would be identical to concept's in their "graphic".... but...since I don't like SUV's, it's kind of "tolerable"

Looks good, with the usually funky and stylish Citroen interior (even if, like with the smaller Cactus, it seems that the material mix is a wide array between premium leather and chepaish plastics)

So is this China or Europe bound, or both?

Btw i don't get their naming scheme, this is likely EMP2 based, so actually more C4, if you like. But the C4 name is already givne to the smaller Cactus, which in turn is based of the smaller C3 actually....

well... EMP2 is meant for C, D and above segments, so this shouldn't imply that it is C segmen vehicle... after all 5,3m long version of Space Tourer/Jumpy is also EMP2 based... ;)!I don't know its dimensions yet, but its length should most likely be between 4,4 and 4,6m... my guess is that it is slightly longer than Pug 3008.

it will be presented on Shanghai salon and, judging by instrumnet cluster and central clolumn controls section, identical to those in chinese C5&C6 models, it is clear that it is meant for chinese market.... but the graphic of central LCD display is one used on EU and not Chinese models... as well as DS7/P3008/5008 gear lever... so it might be "EU bound" too...

Well that gear selector is certainly phallic isn't it?

Love it!! Creams all over the likes of the Tiguan, and that interior is timeless beauty. Hope this makes it to Oz and is decently priced even though French cars are more expensive than German at times here.

This looks fantastic, love the design, the close resemblance to the concept is a nice touch and helps it looks exciting. I can see this selling well with younger people.

I know, right? Looks like it would feel great to handle

Jokes aside, good effort from Citroen. Glad to see they are committed to being quirky again. The front is a bit messy though.

Get rid of the truly hideous face and you have a painfully generic style job. With the hideous face, makes me think the Aztek lives.

really nice inside and out but very undecided on the D pillar treatment. Better than Lexus and Nissan's take on it though.
