Cool 2011 Lamborghini Aventador

I think we can call this official.

As said elsewhere, this looks like a model car on a sheet of white paper.

Is it really official? Can't say much going by the photo...

A little engine "porn"

http://www.topspeed.com/cars/lamborg...-ar100112.html

And now we have car manufacturers videoing their camo'd cars for marketing purposes....whatever next?

I said it in the Car Spy Picture Thread, but actually in this one that's even more clearer, since you can see the end of paper sheet, over a table or something like that.

But hey, even if it's a scale model, the "original" should be pretty close to that.

I don't think it's a scale model on a piece of paper; it's a picture in a magazine or brochure.

In any event, it's not "official"...

Why can't Lamborghini move away from the Diablo shape? Or I guess the Countach started them off in this direction but it's about time they try something new. The Countach and Muira were beautiful. Even if the Diablo and early Murcielago were elegant in their own way.
This is just...pointy. And it's not anything new.

But I'm speaking way too soon! cant' wait for more pics.

In my opinion, it looks too much like the Reventon. It just takes away from the car's cool factor as it already has been done before. I am sure dynamically this car will be a whicked-pissah, but I was expecting more (or something different) from the exterior.

I would be regretting having bought a Reventon, honestly. Now you can have a better car that looks mostly the same, for a portion of the price. Of course, any Reventon owner can also go and buy an Aventador without much hassle, but still....
