I have to say this is growing on me. It's definitely better than the Camry/Accord/Altima. 8.5/10.

Altima - sheetmetal looks like melting plastic. Interior is nice tho..

Camry - that's a f***ing box if I've ever seen one!

Accord - nice but very conventional. Also the 4-cyl is really rough. Whichever mag says otherwise, was paid by Honda.

Sonata - cool and sleek, although the high belt-line makes you feel like you're sitting on the floor, but no big deal, you get used to it quick.

Mazda-6 - awesome exterior, but dashboard is a bit too late-90's / early-2000's.

Fusion - really nice and modern.. Great design inside and out!

Optima - striking exterior! Inside is not quite that striking tho.

This car is clearly a reskin of the old car, it has the same awkward proportions. It looks better than the old car, that's sure.

Good eye. The deliberately took the rear 3/4 shot from a low angle to try to minimize the massive greenhouse.

Edit: the low angle shots really fooled me! This pic def shows the old car's proportions: http://legacygt.com/forums/attachmen...5&d=1391495813

Yawn... another Subaru concept to production flop. The thing is, it's not a bad looking car, it's just meh. I think it's much more akin to an Accord; conservative but handsome. The interior is pretty bad though. They really need to ditch that layout and go for something more modern/unique.

It's just sad to see some automakers coming with cars that just meet the on par level of the segment. There's just 0 forward thinking going on here. Meanwhile, the Mazda, Ford, and Kia are battling for the design crown and pushing the envelope. Subaru isn't as big as the other mainstream brands, but hell, if Volvo can pump out some sexy concepts and production models, Subaru can too. They had two great looking ones and they dropped the ball. Again.

Shame such a great car looks like a generic car from a rental commercial.

59% stiffer chassis. Inside and Out it does look much better and more upscale compared to the old car. All the specs are really impressive. The whole car just looks solid! I love it!

Took the words right out of my mouth. As soon as saw the first pic of it or even the spy video that was out there, I knew it was the old car.

That being said, it definitely is an improvement and 36mpg is downright impressive for an AWD midsize sedan.

I just saw a 2004 Liberty, shame that 10 years later it looks better than a new model.
