A thread about old cars is good. A thread about old cars with mature discussion is even better.
I have confidence in the thread being created. The mature discussion is something yet to be seen.
Thanks for you comments - appreciated!

Mature discussions are nice but rare in the world of the internets, even in real life mature discussions are not always possible.
btw none of the changes I made are permanent, I can move things around. Legacy cars can be as it's own category in the automotive section, but clicking here does show it as its own category it seems

if this forum wasn't running rampant with snark and also hadn't become a ghost town, perhaps that would be best. all of this serious concern about the names and placement of threads is quite moot when forum activity has declined so much. for example, take a look at the bottom of the page: "Most users ever online was 1,480, 06-25-2010 at 11:13 AM." I think now we're lucky if there are 50 members online.
i think i'm going to follow the lead of so many others and move on. this forum was a great go-to in years past, now it's become a constant source of debate and sarcasm among those who are left and take the time to post.
god speed all.

plj, for what it matters your posts are above average for factuality and also insight, you do tend to snap or overly press certain points tho. not unlike santeno's behavior way back when we had tons of users
nobody is telling you to leave, you are welcome to stay or return later
I would rather you stay, and im sure others would agree.

moved the area into the general auto section, we'll see if that helps any confusion.

This is how the forum software works, threads in subsections will appear on the main page in the concept car section, this is normal? Unless you mean something else?

main page:
sub-forum: showing the same thread twice
double-nested?
