Designers had too much cannabis, maybe?

At least it has plenty of yellow warning stickers to keep passengers out of trouble.

This is how Japan likes their cars in this category, they aren't going to change them to suit the tastes of markets where they aren't even sold in. I find these interesting and make good sense in crowded cities with minimum parking spaces. I am sure local regulations etc factor into how these cars look anyway. My current favourite is the Nissan Cube, i only wish Nissan will release a new model with an actual 21st century interior.:)

This is what a VW up! based Microbus could look like (tehre were concpets once), if VW decided to once properly use their iconic cars.....

Exactly what i was thinking, it's a shame they previewed all those concepts and nothing was done. Hopefully with the second generation being slightly larger to accommodate a bigger engine bay will have them green lit.

So they name it after a networking protocol used in vehicles? Ironically, Daihatsu (and parent Toyota) keep CANBUS to a minimum in their vehicles, which is one of the main reasons I love working on them. Keeping it super simple.
