Yea the Cayman would be the best car in the world (under $100k) if it had the 911's suspension tech and engine. But there is still a lot of people who would prefer the engine in the back. Yes, it would be better if it were mid-engined, but it's good to have some variety.
Audi should let Porsche use their engineering voodoo to improve the driving dynamics of their cars, especially the S and RS models. They took a Q5 and and turned into a tail-happy Macan if you get on the gas pedal in a turn. All an Audi does in that situation is under-steer even more. And this is not just about being able to drive like you're crazy, but about balance, sporty driving dynamics, control, and the joy of driving!!! I guess that's something Audi doesn't comprehend (unless you spend over $100k for an R8, LOL!)
