I agree with the comments so far. Interesting package, putting a dedicated hybrid in a crossover body, and I'm also reminded of the Macan...it's more carlike than most crossovers. But I also find it slightly odd-looking. Mainly I think the grille is too wide and the headlights are slightly too small. If the grille were narrower and the lights a bit more horizontal I think it would look better. The rear end is a bit blocky, but I'm guessing that's for aerodynamic reasons.

The interior looks okay, but there's alot of plastic on the doors and the dash looks a bit cheap as well.

Overall, very appealing concept that I think will do well. Not completely sold on the execution though.

What sticks out to me here isn't just the length but the height! That's VERY low for a CUV-ish car. Aside from the length, this car has similar proportions to... a Mercedes GLA! So I guess it's going to look like a lifted hatchback. Interesting.... The tidy dimensions do make for a potentially great urban car.

Supposedly, both this and the Soul will get the first application of Hyundai/Kia's eAWD system, which uses electric motors to power the rear wheels, without a driveshaft.

http://www.carscoops.com/2017/03/kia...n-sale-in.html

Plug in Hybrid version introduced;

No changes exterior wise exceot the front filler cap hiding the electric plug; System output remains at the combined 139hp, though this time the electric motor has actually more power (44 Kw), so acceleration is slightly improved, and the 8,9kWh battery allows for a 55km electric range. Sales in Europe start later this year

I'm seeing these everywhere in Gulf Coast Florida. Off topic, but already zillions of the new CRV, too.

I'd measure this to be about a 'hatchback' for ground clearance / height...however those don't sell - so they called it a CUV.

This is going to destroy the Ioniq for sales (which itself is also a pretty great looking car)
