Looks great, actually. The interior looks better than I expected, although it would always bug me that the nav screen is slightly off-center compared to the center console below...

The front and rear are nice, if deritive, while it's all rather dull in-between. It's an improvement on the current generation overall though.

Although the detailing wasn't perfect, the current Sonata has a certain Coupe like drama, that makes it a bit special. This new one though, isn't anymore. Just toned down every drama enough so that every Toyota or Passat buyer will agree with the design as well. On the same hand, it doesn't look the same amount more expensive that it looks more conservative. The interior looks like a mix between a Seat Leon (which doesn't have a great interior by VAG standards) and something Chinese....

Hmmmmm, some of the pictures make it look good - some not so much.

http://www.lfsonataclub.kr/

If you look at the second picture - the plastic's look hard and the gaps in the dash are large enough to make GM 1995-2008 blush. The dials / knobs look like they were taken from a 2013 Corolla.

To me this looks to be a step backwards.

I'm trying to figure out what exactly is happening in this picture of the lower end unit. There are TWO volume knobs, two tune knobs, and two seek/track buttons.
