Default 2017 Audi A5

As expected, nothing particularly shocking here.

The current one has presence. Put a Toyota emblem on this and tell people it's the new Solara and they'd believe you. #Generic

Yep, no surprises here. It does look generic and stale, but it does look better than some recent Audi design efforts, particularly its face.

I have to say this looks of course highly predictable but much better executed than I expected from the spyshots, especially the headlights. Nice.

I look at this and then wonder when and if I will be able to buy a Buick Avista.... Or even a true successor to the Acura Legend coupe....

A "boringification" of the current attractive design. Predictable, at least less vulgar in detailing than some recent Audis, but would it really hurt to push the envelope a bit design wise, ot at least move it a few mms?

Seems more like a facelift than anything else.

This is the very first instance of the hexagonal grille that Iike. It seems. Strange how much better I find it to be integrated and much less vulgar than what came before (see Q7, Q3 and A4).
