Side profile is quite nice, and I think shows some influence from the Prologue concept:

The tagline of the accompanying article is RIDICULOUS. ::rolls eyes::

I actually like it a lot. The outgoing A5 is still beautiful, and this is a step forward in many areas. The rear is more modern looking and the front grille is very well-suited for the front end proportions. Interior is another knock-out for Audi.

BUT, the headlights are a huge step backwards. They look mis-shapen and generic. All the iterations and advancements Audi has been fiddling with over the past decade, and they stick that pair on the new A5???? They look both visually larger and less modern, but I shouldn't be surprised seeing as they're basically ripped from the A4. I just though Audi was pushing hard to slim headlights down further and further, but this is a clunky inflation.

I also detest the fake mesh plastic inserts where the fog lamps are on the S model. That's a detail that belongs on an economy car, not a $40k Audi.

I'm becoming more and more in love with the new Audi's. Their clean, simple and elegant designs are always on point. I've liked the A5 for quite a while and when I see one on the streets it still looks great. This new 2017 A5 looks even better and still has that gorgeous silhouette of the existing one.

Sketches make it feel much larger than it is. Feels more like an A8 coupe.

Was posting 8 million pictures of the same sketch, in a different color and with no source, really necessary?

Amen and I agree 100%. This isn't the section for sketches.
