Default Audi Q8 E-tron Concept

Debut at Detroit

I can't seem to resize this using the bbcode, so I screw it.

Production version will battle the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe.
So then what did the 2015 e-tron quattro Concept preview? Or is this an evolution of the 2015 concept into a more production ready design?

What Audi desperately needs is a new styling language that shares only the 4 rings with the current look.

Couldn't agree more. Also I hope this super aggressive "get outta my way" styling that is so popular nowadays will be replaced soon. This is atrocious....

Looks very good, like many other Audi sketches. Unfortunately the concept car always looks much worse, and if there ever is a production car (very rare: Audi A3 Sedan or Audi TT), the production car looks very boring.

I do not totally agree with you, because most cars if not all IMO are "wannabe aggressive because I look sh*t". I can't think of any truly aggressive looking car (except maybe Lamborghini Huracan).

I don't understand the use of bright vertical slats. Audi used horizontal ones on the prologue concepts. They were nice and tasteful. The grille here looks like a mix of Audi with Maserati (in a bad way). Vertical ones don't mesh at all with the language of the rest of the front end.

And all that black crap around it... Why??

Audi's design language of the gaping hole face is played out. Everyone is doing it. Instead of developing something new and breathtaking, they've gone "Lexus" with something ugly and frightening.

That looks so innovative....not.

A Q5 with an uglier front end. There is your concept car of the electric future....
