Default Nissan Vmotion 2.0 Concept

Looks like a next-gen Altima preview:

I know Nissan's designs aren't for everyone, but I like this! And considering how well the sports sedan concept previewed the Maxima, I'd expect to see a lot of this in the production Altima coming next year.

If they built it just like that, it would be killer. They will dumb it down for production so imagine the dumbed down version with plastic wheel covers, a raspy 4 cylinder, and howling CVT. Not pretty.

This looks great, as did the Maxima concept. That was watered down a bit for production and I imagine this will be too. I like this version of the Nissan face more than their current implementation, but it's a bit large.

I'M afraid you will be right. However, the new Micra (in Europe) was also expected to be watered down quite a bit after the attractive concept car, and somehow managed to stay surprisingly close. Also Nissan avoids the mistake of making the base model of it look too much like a stripped out rental car, so probably there is hope this is a new trend...

It's a head-turner, but perhaps a little too radical and polarising, and yes, what a watered down version would look like (minus the bling / big wheels) is a worry. Anyway, Nissan's track record of producing production cars that look close to their concept cars is better than most, and this looks great as presented here
