First I've heard of chassis problems this severe in the Nissan. I know Toyota has replaced thousands of Tacoma chassis. I know two dealers around here who always seem to have one available...

Actually this is the older generation, the new one - the one to be shared with Mercedes - has apparently been extensively reworked. But surely nevertheless there are now a few nervous Mercedes product managers out there....

Nissan have known about the problem for a while now apparently:

Why they haven't issued a recall by this point is beyond comprehension given it's clearly a safety issue. Plus it's terrible PR.

Ha no, I feel if I'd ever get a pickup, it would be a ford or chevy/gmc.
