I thought regular body Crown Sedans are used for taxi service in Japan

Indeed. The general shape & Hybrid certainly make sense as a Taxi. Question is if it will make a business case.

apparently not anymore... it is LPG hybrid too, so cost of running should be around half of regular hybrids.

Design is supposed to be "timeless", ie wont grow old, ie traditional... also floor is really low so old people and geisha's can enter and exit easily. One side is normal door and other side is sliding door for easier wheelchair entry.

Back has 3 ceiling fans and back seats are heated too...

Bumpers are made out of 3 pieces, suspension is coil spring on rear, light covers can be replaced independently, all for cheaper maintenance.

They should sell this ww really.
