Default 2014 Mercedes Benz V-Class

In similar fashion to the C-Class, the V-Class get's officially revealed as well, again so far the interior only though.

Again, more at the link.

It must be said that for a commercial vehicle the interior is amazing.

I suppose it's supposed to be a "luxury" van, but even so, very impressive.

Well, the V-Class has so far always been the passenger version of the Viano commercial van, which is about ford Transit sized (the normal, short wheelbase non high roof model). Until now, they shared exterior and most of the interior, with the V-Class having a bit if wood and chrome where the commercial one had hard plastic "decoration". But the basic dashboard was always identical, and i suppose it will be the same in this case.

Among the commercial vehicle based vans the V-Class has always been one of the most luxurious (apart from the VW Multivan/Caravelle/EUrovan, which can go to insane price regions with options heavily ticked), but still, it is a commercial vehicle basically...

Damn that's nice.

P.S.
With that said, I wonder if AMG can manage to fit their 6.0 liter V12 Twin Turbo engine inside this thing.

Rocket van

Apparently it is derived technically from the C-Class mercedes (the upcoming one) So probably, a V123 would be a tight fit, but a V63 AMG roooooaaaaring V8 would still be nice

Hmm.......interesting.

By the way, what's the estimated size and dimensions of the upcoming V-class?

For comparison, this is the current Viano/V-class:

This should give us some idea as to the estimated size of the engine bay to see the maximum displacement/engine size that can fit inside the vehicle engine bay.....

really nice looking van. Mercedes might want to have more than one headlight design in the arsenal though.
