Gorgeous looking and in the USA we get the crappy styling of the Atlas and the Tiguan instead. Go figure.

I do prefer the look of the Sportline to the other versions, but the look of the nose still troubles me - hopefully it translates better in reality than in pictures.

I wish they would dump the VW name and use Skoda here. The Octavia I rented recently was for a 1.0 three cylinder turbo six speed stick with hatchback, a perfectly decent drive.

don't think the name skoda has enough recognition in North America for it to sell well enough here, even if priced right.

Selling the Skoda line as VWs here would be a brilliant move.

The Octavia (particularly the RS) and the Superb would be nice options to have. I'm surprised the latter isn't selling better than it is here in Australia as it's the most well rounded and desirable car in its class IMO.

Yes, now the Superb is a good car AND nice looking, it should be selling much better. There is still a stigma over the brand and they need more dealers. Although sales are low I am in one of their best areas so I do see them regularly, even the Roomster!

Yeh, resale values are also terrible apparently. I see lots of Octavia RS's though - I do like them (the current or pre-facelifted one).

The Kodiaq GT "Coupe"

SO far China only, but let's be honest, at some point this should make it to Europe at least as well. Though IMO one of the best looking VAG Cross overs, this really stretches the term coupe a lot, given it looks like any larger 5 door/5 seat CUV, no specially low roof line or frame less doors (front doors look even identical to the regular Kodiaq)...
