Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon

Infiniti and Cadillac do it a lot.

New TLX as well:

Vertical vents are very played out.

Well, there is not that much that you can do with air vents, if they should be in a functional height. Either left and right of the screen/stereo, or below or above. below usually comes with the "glued on iPad style" screens, which are usually not my favorite. This is no copy IMO, just a general design trend. If it's pretty, well, is another question

That was my initial thought too, but my eyes aren't completely satisfied. Oh well.

Thanks for the other responses as well, although it was more than the placement that reminded me of another interior, it was that specific shape, particularly the lower angled edge.

Wasn't suggesting it was an intentional copy, just a very strong resemblance to something else.

Interior is ok, exterior is unfortunate. Busy, fussy yet still bland. The side surfacing is particularly unpleasant, not that I'm surprised...this isn't too different from the concept other than the proportions and detailing. Too bad, since the outgoing Impreza was pretty decent-looking for a Subaru.

While by far not as good as the concept, it is by far not any worse than competitors in terms of design, technically it trumps them all.
