Default 2017 Nissan Micra/March

http://www.autoweek.nl/nieuws/36420/...heel-veel-tape

Nissan is testing the replacement for the current, not so well received Micra/March. Seems way more modern, less cheap, clearly visual links to both late Nissan Sway concept and the current Renault Clio (which it is likely related to). This should help Nissan get back some loyal Micra customers, who were less than thrilled with the current third world special. I just wonder if Nissan will keep the Micra name...

It is said to be presented later this year.

Does look a lot like the Sway concept. Which is a good thing because I think the Sway represents a good way forward for B-cars. Hoping this replaces the Versa in the US.

If there's a car that desperately needs a replacement, that's the Micra. It's hopelessly uncompetitive at least in Europe. This camoed car seems quite up to the task, looks very sharp and modern.

I hope it's still suitable for Mitsouka.

Although combininig the Sway's space age look with some 1950ies Jaguar snout and chrome elements could make for a very interesting design...

Like others have pointed out, looks remarkable close to the Sway Concept, which is great. Looking promising.

Did they name it "Sway" to advertise it going out of control?

Nissan, drop the Versa Note and bring this here as its replacement.
