Default 2018 Bentley Continental GT

FInally, there will be an all new Continetal GT, and better even, with RWD proportions, so no more VW Phaeton underneath (this time it's based on teh next gen. Porsche Panamera)....

Obviously, there are a few cues form the EXP 10 concept, which is a good thing, however I kind of hope those huge bug eyes are there for camouflage reasons only and won't make it into production....

The Type I Beetle eyes need to go bye bye. The rest is quite promising.

never understood the cab forward, rounded muddy features of the Continental GT

The Brooklands and Arnage are the pinnacle of Bentley styling, this gauche stuff just sells.

The cab forward look was due to being based of a initially FWD chassis with the longitudinally mounted engine being placed in front of the front axle in traditional Audi design...

With the new model coming the cab forward look will be history. Thanks to a brand new chassis developed together with Porsche (where it will be used for the new Panamera) we will see significantly improved proportions. The new car will have engines sitting behind the front axle which will also have a positive impact on driving dynamics. At the same time we can expect high-tech features like rear-wheel steering, which has already been confirmed for the new Porsche Panamera. And maybe we will even see rear-wheel-drive versions ...

Translation: Porsche ALONE designed a new Panamera and VWAG is putting different bodies on it for the Continental and Flying Spur replacements and letting Bentley claim they helped too.
