Agreed re: toned down from the concept, but I'm 99% convinced this is a mule and not the production body.

The possibly misaligned door handles would also suggest that.

You know, I actually don't mind the way this looks, though. I think a 7-passenger SUV should have a bit of a "truck-y" look, and the outward visibility of this design should be pretty good. I also find it pleasantly inoffensive (as opposed to a few other recent designs from Subaru, which I think are genuinely kind of a ugly).

I think Subaru design has improved in the recent past, but this looks crook IMO - hopefully this is not the production body.

Unfortunately, it seems to be the case. The only upside or Subaru will be the VW Atlas, which makes this still look like the future of car design...
