Default Peugeot 5008

I really hate the Peugeot 5008 D pillar segment with a passion, reason enough to pimp it with the one from the (IMO much better looking) 3008:

IMO it looks much better and much less like a stacked up estate.

It is better looking, but it appears the more upright DLO of the 5008 is there not only for a different design, but rather for head room in the 3rd row (and reviews indicate it#s one of the few - if not only - CUV in this segment that can accommodate grown ups in the 3rd row. Probably very few will actually transport 7 adults in a compact to midsize CUV, but here the 3rd row ate least theoretically can work in such way.

As a aresult, the 5008 is - unlike the 3008 - not a handsome design, unfortunately (fortunately though, it still shares the amazing looking and truly premium feeling interior)

I agree with Mick78, the rear is probably like that for more headroom on the 5008.

If Peugeot had used a similar or identical design, I feel it would be hard to tell the 2 apart, in fact if you hadn't posted the original 5008, I would have assumed the top picture was just a 3008.

Good work.

The roof line isn't changed though on my photoshop, at least not to any significance.

I agree the interieur is absolutely lovely, I really would have considered one instead of the Kodiaq as I can live without AWD (the coming Hybrid with electrical rear wheel drive looks also intersting though) if this (and the headlights) would look a bit better (if I spend nearly 40.000 on a car I really need to like it *g*)
