I actually was aware of that now that you remind me of it:), but the truly ugly XJS needed a replacement. It's too bad that Jaguar and Aston are no longer together given the sharing that would mutually benefit the both of them.

Don't think anyone else picked up on the idea either, as it now seems more and more manufacturers are moving away from hard top convertibles and back to cloth. Even Peugeot is rumoured to stop making their CCs.
