That looks fantastic. The only caveat is that I'm still not convinced by Peugeot's gauge cluster arrangement...I think I'd prefer the traditional setup. But the design looks great, and it looks like there's some interesting use of materials (what appears to be fabrics on the doors and dash, for example)

I was skeptical until I tried it, and it works great for me!

It doesn't really work particularly well in the 208, but that was their first attempt. It's better in the 308, and has minimal problems with the rim of the steering wheel fouling the view of the dials.

Ok shape overall, but the detailing is gaudy--grille--or random--the strip of chrome below the rear window which would have looked better connecting the back-up light feature of the tail lights. With some attention to detail this could have been attractive.

That's a refresh of the current model... And if you saw it in the metal you'd not appreciate the shape.
It's an awkward looking thing at best

true... an awkward car!
but I have to admit few things.... first... even after 8 years on the market&unlike wast mayority of more "conventional" models, dated in 2008, it still looks as wacky as on the first day! but more "tolerable", cause we got used to it in the mean time . second, European face lift suits it far better than this "chinese one"! and third, its interior is even after all this years still one of the best looking in the segment!

Yes, it does have a timeless ugliness to it. This refresh doesn't appear to have helped things.

Yeah, the current model has no beauty outside, quite in contrast to the excellent interior.
