Default Ferrari GTO

Been playing about with the idea of a 1980's inspired Ferrari, looking towards the 288 GTO but without going full retro.
Also as a road car and not a track warrior the "O" is for omaggio and not omologato.

Opinions?

That looks soooo nice. Modern all around with retro touchs at the front and the back (gills). Very very good.

and here's a possible sketch to form the base of a rear render.

Well this is a whole year old, but thanks to COVID-19 I'm able to work on my portfolio again so here's an update:
This is taken from my upcoming portfolio but is very much WIP so not final (especially image placement, theme and any writing).
The last image is ongoing CAD of the final form. From the last of the design sketches the main changes are the area ahead of rear wheels, headlights, and some surface refinement. Obviously not a whole lot of that is evident yet.

Yeah. Not sure what I'm going to use for rendering yet. Been using a lot of 3DS Max and Vray at work... Probably going to experiment with free stuff though.

Blender and cycles has come a long way. I'd give it a gander.

Wow, spectacular design!
I really like the inclusion of supple historic design details like the F40 air vents on the rear panel

I really like it, IMO it just would need a bit more visual lightwieght, the 288 GTO does look so sli in flesh, and that is much of what makes it look so wonderful.

You are right, i'm hoping to bring some of that through in the CAD model. Which is progressing, slowly but progress is being made
