Nice analogy, but there are simply better SUVs for the $$ than the Prado/Lexus GX atrocity. As for cameras, the Japanese obliterated Leica a half century ago.

Why? All you do is argue with and sneer at anything I say. I'd could pay you a compliment and you'd get triggered and go off. Thus, I don't see the utility in taking your question seriously. If I thought a constructive conversation were possible with you, i'd respond accordingly, but there is no point. I wish you many blessings. Namaste!

There are certainly better SUVs, quite a lot if you drive them where 99% are driven in Westren countries (exclusively on road), but there are few proper Offroaders left, that can take the beating of not first world roads and still drive for years without falling apart or having to replace the suspension at every second fuel stop. The Land cruiser, Land Rovers, G- Wagon,Grand Cherokee to a certain level, and then the air is thinning quickly. (I'll include the US truck based Suburban etc. for toughness if you live in the Arab world or anywhere else where off road does not mean woods or anywhere other terrain where obstacles mean size is a problem)

The Land cruiser is probably the most utilitarian of these, and as such certainly not aimed at US or western European markets mainly, but they make a lot of sense elsewhere. Also, in those countries where they make sense, they are a status symbol as well, bought for the name.
