No, but if you're going to design a mid-engined car, you could do far worse than copying a Ferrari....

I think mid-engined cars typically look rather tail heavy (for obvious reasons). I think this one is proportioned fairly well, and it looks quite exciting (IMHO).

I think it looks like a lard butt similar to the Audi R8 which I find horrible. Mid-engined can look rather well proportioned when the designer sweats the details.

Not a fan of the R8, and I think this looks considerably sleeker. GM has been doing a pretty good job w/ exterior design recently, IMHO, and I think this will be no different.

First gen, I hope! I don't like the second gen one at all, although I haven't seen it on the open road yet.

I hope so; an ugly sports car is just totally missing the point. When I stood next to one, I was struck by how low it was.

I was only a teen when the first NSX was introduced, but I remember it being breathtakingly stunning (not necessarily beautiful) in person and seemingly groundbreaking in so many ways.

Some auto journalists have commented that the current NSX reflects Acura's problem (an identity crisis). Similarly, the old NSX was clearly the product of a confident and focused manufacturer at the top of it's game. Seems like the new Civic and Accord are very good; hopefully, the elegant manufacturer of old is returning....
