Hopefully it looks better in real life photos.

It does look a bit dull, not bad, just dull. Detailing like that busy bumper doesn't save a design, even though the current generation of designers seems to think so. What it doesn't look like though, is in any way "CUV coupe", so the X2 badge will be irritating, given the new X1 is quite a bit larger (I had X2 prototypes driving around where I live for a while). If they had made it a fastback, or in any way looking less like a "BMW Tucson", it would work as a coupe. But like this, it looks like the X1's little sister, although naming suggests the opposite....

Some official spy shots of sorts, with colorful camo:

To me, it looks like a cross between a Mercedes GLA and a Kia Sorrento, and somehow just smaller than the X1, without really looking "sportier", or more coupe like. Nevertheless I guess the "2" figure in the name suggests it will be more expensive than the X1...

The headlights are way too big and it looks much rounder than expected, at least with the camo on - don't like it so far.

I think it holds promise. It's definitely not cookie-cutter styling.

LOL. True. Although I think this looks quite promising so far.

http://www.carscoops.com/2017/10/bmw...-all-camo.html

Basically no camo on a car transporter; I guess we will see the real thing in a few days latest;

Nothing unexpected, pleasant looking, but also quite anonymous to my eyes...

Agreed. There is NOTHING about the side profile, IMHO, that says "BMW." Rather surprising, actually....
