The interior certainly looks nicer than Elise and Europa, but it still doesn't appear very high quality to me. Of course it's hard to judge materials from these pictures so I won't judge just yet. I love how one of the (climate control?) knobs is wedged beneath the nav screen... maybe it's the angle but it doesn't look very ergonomic.

I assume that this is coming to NA? I recall everyone saying that while the Europa wasn't engineered with U.S. consumption in mind, the Eagle would be.

This looks good from the A-pillar back and interior. But the front is not my taste. It should be a car nice overall, its got a good engine too. But 1400kg does sound heavy.

"The luxurious seats are stuffed with eagle down and the dashboard inlaid with the beaks of a thousand eagles. Also, there are some eagles under the floorboards.."

Is that on the brochure?

This car looks so good, but i was hoping for a true Esprit successor and this just does not fill the role. Something on the 350-400bhp would, but then again, we know that Lotus is not into that anymore.

IIRC, an Esprit replacement is still on the agenda.

Right?

~3,100 lbs with 280 hp is not that great of a ratio. It prolly won't be faster than the base Elise.

Has anyone seen a pic of the rear seats yet?

Just looked at the countdown website and had a thought...

Is there a significance of it being launched at 11:20?

My only thought it they had an Elise model called the 111 so 112 possibly?

I guess we shall see in one hour!
