Seeing this makes you realise how far the 911 has lost the plot

Wow, I can't count how many cars should follow this line of styling .

This car is a must have!

Speechless. A must have definitely.

Have they taken out Traction control and ESP, so when you corner you spin around as in the old days?

Seeing this makes me realize how much Porsche is mired in yesterthink. It's time for them to create their Golf and move on from their Super Beetle.

That interior looks more upscale than that of a new 911 or Boxter.

Actually, tehy tried seveal tomes (914/6, 924, 928, 944, 968), all of which were more or less great engineered, looking more or less good, but all had one problem: people didn't buy them, they kept buying the 911. And Porsche got into serious finacial trouble with this trying. The car to save them was actually the 996 Carrera and the Boxster, bot very traditional in many ways....

This looks great as all old 911s, but honstly it's a perfectly restored and upgraded old 911 (there exist similar projects for old Jags, Astons and teh Citroen DS), so in my eyes not really a new car. Lovely, sure, but I doubt I would pay 275k $ for one....
