By the general appearance of it (both in and outside) I guess that is more of a Toyota Innova competitor for ASEAN markets etc. than targeting US or European MPV customers...

That said, the front end looks like a bad photoshop, like stretching the middle part of a normal car front end. Shame, because otherwise, compared to those "MPVs on stilts for developing markets" it's likely to compete with, it's not that bad

Looks atrocious. No surprises there, it's a Mitsubishi after all.

That's nightmarish looking on the outside. The dash looks semi-OK.

Agreed, although semi-ok from maybe 2005?

An aged interior is far, FAR better than whatever the hell that front end is. It's like a sci-fi nightmare.

Comparing the two as if one is better than the other when they're both bad doesn't really do much lol

But it does! See, the interior says to me, "You can't afford an LR Discovery, but, if you've had too much to drink and really need your eyeglasses updated and you squint really hard, then maybe this looks somewhat similar (minus the cheap ass glovebox door)." I can appreciate that.

The front end, though, is like one of those things you wish you could unsee but can't. It needs to come w/ a warning b/c it burns your retinas and terrifies little children. What are they going to call this design language? "Angry Vacuum?" "Digital Roadkill?" It answers the question, "How does one make Toyota's overwrought designs look positively demure and tasteful?" And ain't nobody was askin' that question!
