Default Skoda Vision X

A concept for Geneva, previewing their upcoming, below Karoq small CUV....

https://www.carscoops.com/2018/02/sk...ssover-geneva/

I'm surprised we will first see a concept, as it actually looks pretty much like every other VAG CUV (ii even think it will be like Karoq/Ateca just different sheet metal on same body with the already on sale Seat Arona), just adding some Citroen like double head lights, once you deduct the usual exaggeration of proportions you find in these teaser sketches...

It also seems to hint at Skoda is adopting the "glued on iPad" screen as well inside....

Imagine what a nice looking US VW this would make by slapping on VW badges. Why is it that Skoda--which is supposed to sit below VW--gets styling that makes it more compelling looking than Audi?

This looks very, very attractive IMO, much more so than the VW and SEAT offerings.

Curious how much will stay from the concept till this will see massproduction.

nice crisp design but i can see the front looking like a derivative Chinese design in production guise.

So the front headlight trend started by Nissan's Juke, followed by Citroen's entire line-up and recently adapted by Hyundai on the Kona is now making its way into Skoda cars?

Except that unlike at Citroen and formerly at Jeep, this is attractive.

As usual and expected you just love hating on the French. Citroen's current design works well, their cars stand out and look funky which is the way to go. But each to their own..

This has potential, Skoda's concept tend to be accurate to production but that i because they are production cars in disguise anyways. So hopefully this is one of those concept.s
